For a place known for its hot dogs, their burgers are worthy of going to war over. I'd slap my momma if she tried to take a bite of my Old Fashioned Burger Combo. and do NOT get me started on the Green Bean Fries. Who even thought of that? A blessed angel, of course. Whoever made the recipes deserves a raise and a forehead kiss. I don't work for them or know anyone there, I just genuinely want to eat those two items every day.
It's definitely a college bar vibe, but the food and drinks were good, and the service was great. We went before an ECU game, and I'd definitely do it again!
Stopped in on a Saturday, no wait which was surprising for a holiday weekend. The food was great, service was great, and the atmosphere is lax and cute.
What a great treat and so close to ECU Went to pick my son up to go back home after an awesome freshman year at his ECU dorm within walking distance of this establishment. My son went once before me and said the hot dogs were great. He wasn't joking! My Old School hot dog was so good, I ordered a second one The icing on the cake was the staff were all very friendly, and my son treated as a thank you! All around great atmosphere and commend management for keeping everything running so smoothly as a go-to restaurant for the college campus. See you guys next semester!
I work right next to Sup Dogs, which is going to be an issue for me because I really love the kind of food that they serve. I ordered online so that I could pick it up at the beginning of my lunch break. I got the Smokehouse Burger Combo, which came with french fries. The price was pretty reasonable for the quality and portion. I went inside and let them know I had an online order, and they were able to get it from the kitchen and hand it off to me. The food was absolutely delicious. The burger was good, and the Sup Dog sauce was tasty. The side of sauce was excellent with the fries, too. The food is definitely greasy and heavy, but it is filling. I will definitely come back with my family to dine-in sometime.
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Wow, this is I think the BEST hot dog place I’ve ever been to! I came here due to reading online that MrBeast frequently comes here, and I can see why he does. I loved the Sup Dog with fries, the really soft bun and flavor from the Chili and juicy sausage. The waitresses were also very nice and kind. The fries were absolutely delicious and I ate every single last one. The drink was also amazing and tasted great. However, there was no parking there (couldn’t get our car there) due to road works being done outside, and when we tried to park nearby at the big parking lot, we actually got a 35 ticket since it was faculty parking for the nearby East Carolina University (there was no signage saying it was faculty parking). Anyways, Sup Dogs is a great place for hotdogs.
A “Must do” on a restaurant bucket list. Outdoor dining, outstanding flavor and varieties of hotdogs, even no meat, and burgers, all with delicious sides. Also a “spirits” menu. . Good prices and enough food per order that you could split with a friend at just 2.50 for a second dawg of any type. Excellent service of course. 5-23-2025: shared a nice meal with family on the first level outside. The upper levels are closed until closer to supper time. The service was quick and efficient. the onion rings were outstanding the hot dogs were good and I had the Western one which I really liked, the other one I had was the Hawaiian type one and that was kinda like eating a salad so I'm more of a meat kind of guy. What I would recommend is if you order a hotdog and you like it like you get it outside on the grill is ask them to char it a little bit because when you just get a regular hotdog it's like it was just pulled it out of the bag and boiled it for about five minutes you know it's no different than you make it home. But the toppings and the atmosphere make it worth it
My first ever genuine American hot dog, and I don't think it'll be beat! Cool college bar/restaurant. Great service - friendly, attentive staff. Good choice of local craft beer. Delicious hot dogs with a variety of toppings. Served with a mountain of fries and THE BEST DIPPING SAUCE I'VE EVER HAD. Sweet, smoky - unreal. And incredible value: two dogs, fries, dip for 10!!! Get yourself down to Sup Dogs!
